Samerth Charitable Trust are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Agriculture Expert to join our team and contribute to impactful agricultural development projects in Dongargarh, District Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh.

Job Details

Position: Agriculture Expert

Location: Dongargarh, District Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh

Employment Type: Full time

Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹42,000 per month

Job Responsibilities

As an Agriculture Expert, you will play a key role in supporting agricultural development activities and strengthening farmers’ livelihoods through technical guidance and field-level implementation.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for agriculture and horticulture interventions.
- Guide farmers on sustainable and climate-resilient farming practices.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor project implementation and farmer engagement.
- Organize farmer training programs, workshops, and demonstration activities.
- Coordinate with local stakeholders, farmer groups, and project teams.
- Collect field data and prepare progress reports, case studies, and project documentation.

Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification must be-

✓ B.Sc. Agriculture

✓ B.Sc. Forestry

Or any relevant Agriculture-related Degree

Experience Required

Minimum 3 years of experience in agriculture, rural development, watershed, horticulture, livelihood, or community development projects.

Experience working directly with farmers and rural communities will be preferred.

Required Skills

✔ Strong knowledge of agronomy, horticulture, and sustainable agriculture practices.

✔ Excellent communication and farmer interaction skills.

✔Ability to conduct training sessions and field demonstrations.

✔ Good reporting, documentation, and data management skills.

✔ Team coordination and project management abilities.

✔ Willingness to travel extensively in rural areas.
