Pre Production Merchandiser (Najafgarh)

Location: Rama Road Industrial Area, Current Delhi Industry: Apparel / Fashion Manufacturing We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Pre-Production Merchandiser to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should be organized, responsible, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with buyers and internal teams during the pre-production stage. Review and follow up on development samples, approvals, trims, fabrics, and production requirements. Ensure smooth communication between buyers, design, sourcing, and production teams. Maintain accurate records and track timelines to ensure timely execution. Understand colour standards, shade approvals, and garment construction requirements. Monitor critical paths and proactively resolve issues before production begins. Prepare and manage all pre-production documentation and approvals. Requirements: Good written and spoken English. Strong multitasking and organizational abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with international buyers. Understanding of colours, fabrics, garment construction, and apparel production processes. Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills. Responsible, dependable, and able to work under deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic merchandising documentation. Preferred Experience: 2–5 years of experience in apparel merchandising, preferably in a pre-production or production merchandising role. Experience working with export buyers and garment manufacturing units will be an advantage.
