Senior Electrical Engineer- Wind Projects (Bhatiya)

Role & responsibilities a) Electrical Network Design & Implementation Pre Design i. Objectives
- Conduct feasibility studies for power evacuation with a focus on optimal PSS design and integration.
- Prepare BOQ and detailed technical specifications specifically for Power Substations (PSS), along with 33 KV and EHV systems.
- Finalize survey and layout for 33 KV and EHV lines, ensuring alignment with PSS location, minimizing losses, and optimizing cost.
- Collaborate with HO and procurement teams to prepare work order specifications that prioritize timely grid connectivity through robust PSS planning.
- Lead planning, execution, and commissioning of PSS infrastructure, including switchgear, transformers, SCADA systems, and associated grid components.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, WTG manufacturers, and government agencies to ensure smooth execution of PSS and related electrical works.
- Review and approve technical specifications, drawings, and GTPs for PSS, EHV lines, 33 KV lines, USS, and SCADA systems.
- Oversee commissioning and HOTO of all electrical systems, with special attention to PSS readiness and compliance. ii. Measures

- Ensure all works are executed main in adherence to HSE standards.

- Preparation of progress report as per management requirement.
- Monitoring and review of works and escalate critical issues to Project Head for timely action.

- Reports Preferred candidate profile
• Qualification- B. TECH (Electrical)/Diploma (Electrical)
• Experience- 8-12 years of experience
• Knowledge- Knowledge of Wind farm Electricals, Understanding of Regulatory Affairs and approvals, Understanding Grid components and how it works, EHS awareness
• ICT Skills- MS Office, MS Projects & Google Earth, AutoCAD
• Other Skills- Team management, Communication, Planning, Root Cause & Failure Analysis
• Abilities- Analytical thinking & Problem solving.
