Civil Engineer (Fresher) – Job Description Role Overview A Civil Engineering Fresher assists in planning, designing, and supervising construction and infrastructure projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, and drainage systems under the guidance of senior engineers. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in site supervision and daily construction activities
- Support in planning and execution of projects
- Prepare and review drawings, layouts, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality standards
- Help in material estimation and procurement
- Maintain project documentation and reports
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and vendors Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Familiarity with software like AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Excel
- Understanding of structural analysis and design basics
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering
