Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and skilled Chef who specializes in South Indian and North Indian cuisines. The ideal candidate should be passionate about cooking, maintain high hygiene standards, and consistently deliver quality food as per hotel/restaurant standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook authentic South Indian and North Indian dishes as per the menu
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Plan daily food preparation and assist in menu planning when required
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and storage practices
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth operations
- Minimize food wastage and control kitchen costs
- Ensure timely preparation and service of food
- Follow hotel/restaurant policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a South Indian / North Indian Chef
- Strong knowledge of spices, ingredients, and traditional cooking methods
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently
- Valuable understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays Preferred Experience:
- Experience in hotels, restaurants, or commercial kitchens
- Knowledge of breakfast, lunch, and dinner preparations
- Experience handling bulk cooking (preferred for hotels) Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹30,000.00
