Logistics Executive (Egmore)

– Logistics Executive We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Executive to manage logistics operations, purchasing activities, sourcing, import/export coordination, and supplier management. The candidate should have good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills along with working knowledge of Tally and MS Office. Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day logistics operations.
- Coordinate with transporters for timely dispatch and delivery of materials.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors for purchase orders, quotations, and delivery schedules.
- Source materials/products from local and international suppliers.
- Manage import and export documentation and shipment coordination.
- Track shipments and ensure smooth customs and transportation processes.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers and transporters.
- Prepare purchase orders, invoices, and maintain records in Tally.
- Monitor stock movement and coordinate with stores/accounts departments.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials as per company requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation related to logistics, purchase, and shipment activities.
- Resolve delivery delays, transportation issues, and supplier-related concerns. Required Skills
- Knowledge of Purchase, Sourcing, Logistics, Import & Export procedures.
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and transporters.
- Working knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Solid communication and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of shipping and customs documentation. Qualification
- Any Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, or related field.
- 6–8 years of experience in logistics, Sourcing, Import& Export Preferred Knowledge
