: HR Executive (Construction Sector) Location: Bangalore Experience: 2 to 3 years in Human Resources (Experience in construction, real estate, or infrastructure is highly preferred) Reports To: MD Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized HR Executive with 2 to 3 years of experience to manage day-to-day HR operations across our corporate office and construction sites. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between management and our diverse workforce, handling everything from blue-collar recruitment and site deployment to payroll coordination and statutory compliance. Key Responsibilities 1. Recruitment & Workforce Mobilization
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for both corporate roles (Engineers, Project Managers, Accountants) and site-level positions (Supervisors, Foremen).
- Coordinate the mass hiring and deployment of skilled/unskilled labor based on project timelines and site requirements.
- Manage relationships with third-party labor contractors and recruitment agencies. 2. Site HR Operations & Employee Relations
- Conduct on boarding, orientation, and safety policy briefings for recent hires and contract laborers.
- Regularly visit construction sites to address employee grievances, resolve conflicts, and ensure a smooth working environment.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records (attendance, contracts, IDs) for both permanent staff and contractual workers. 3. Payroll Coordination & Attendance Management
- Track and verify daily attendance from biometric systems or manual site registers for payroll processing.
- Manage overtime calculations, site allowances, and bonus structures specific to construction workers.
- Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement. 4. Statutory Compliance & Safety
- Ensure strict compliance with local labor laws, construction worker welfare acts, and factory regulations.
- Maintain mandatory registers and handle documentation for Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and workmen’s compensation.
- Collaborate with the Safety/HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) team to ensure all site workers adhere to safety protocols and wear proper PPE. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s/MBA in HR or a Diploma in Labor Laws is a strong plus.
- Experience: 2–3 years of core HR experience. Direct exposure to manufacturing, engineering, or construction environments makes a major difference.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRMS software, attendance tracking tools, and Microsoft Excel.
- Soft Skills:
- Robust Communication: Ability to speak Kannada, English and Hindi effectively with corporate executives as well as on-site laborers.
- Conflict Resolution: Tough skin and strong negotiation skills to handle labor disputes or contractor issues.
- Adaptability: Willingness to travel to active, dusty construction sites when necessary. Pay: ₹25,000.00
