Physics and Mathematics Teacher (Electronic City)

Position Overview: Unique High is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and student-centered Physics and Maths teacher to teach students in grades 6–10. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Physics and Maths, experience working with adolescents, and a passion for fostering scientific curiosity and academic excellence. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons in Physics and Maths for middle and high school students.
- Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the developmental level of students.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Assess student progress regularly and use data to guide instruction.
- Prepare students for standardized assessments and internal evaluations.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ academic performance and behavior.
- Integrate lab-based activities, inquiry learning, and technology to deepen student understanding.
- Supervise students during science labs, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives and curriculum development.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school staff regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and faculty meetings. Qualifications: Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed or M.Ed Skills and Competencies:
- Robust knowledge of scientific content and pedagogy.
- Effective classroom management and student engagement strategies.
- Ability to differentiate instruction for a diverse group of learners.
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
