Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Chinese Cook to prepare authentic and high-quality Chinese cuisine. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of traditional cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles, ensuring consistency and taste in every dish.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes (e.g., stir-fries, noodles, dim sum, soups). Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and quality standards. Handle wok cooking and high-heat cooking techniques efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards. Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering ingredients. Ensure proper storage of food items to prevent spoilage. Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Innovate and suggest new dishes or improvements to the menu.

Requirements: Proven experience as a Chinese Cook or similar role. Solid knowledge of Chinese cuisine and cooking methods. Ability to use kitchen equipment like wok, steamers, and knives safely. Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Team player with valuable communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in hotels or Chinese specialty restaurants.
