Remote Accountant — UAE Specialist Full-Time Remote UAE Experience Required ABOUT RED CONSULTING Red Consulting is a Dubai-based business consultancy specializing in UAE company formation, residency solutions, banking coordination, and ongoing compliance support for entrepreneurs and international business owners operating in the UAE. We work with a growing portfolio of Free Zone companies, helping founders navigate everything from initial setup to long-term operational compliance — including Corporate Tax, VAT, and financial reporting. Our team is lean, execution-focused, and operates at the intersection of consulting and real business operations. We are now looking for a detail-oriented, UAE-experienced accountant to join us on a full-time remote basis. THE ROLE As our in-house accountant, you will manage the financial operations of Red Consulting's own entities alongside a select portfolio of external client companies. You will work directly with the co-founders, contribute to both internal financial health and client deliverables, and serve as the primary accounting point of contact for a growing client base. This is a hands-on role. You will be doing the work — not supervising it. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Internal accounting Day-to-day bookkeeping and transaction management via Zoho Books Invoice preparation and management via Zoho Invoice Monthly and quarterly P&L; preparation Annual financial planning and budgeting Cash flow tracking and reporting Coordination with co-founders on financial decisions Client accounting (external portfolio) Managing accounts for a small portfolio of UAE Free Zone companies Bookkeeping, invoice management, and reconciliation UAE Corporate Tax registration and filing support UAE VAT registration and periodic filing support Preparation of simplified financial reports for clients Direct communication with clients when required Banking & compliance coordination Coordination with UAE banks (digital and traditional business banks) Supporting clients and internal entities with bank-related documentation Ensuring records are clean and audit-ready at all times REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on accounting experience in the UAE — non-negotiable
- Proficiency in Zoho Books and Zoho Invoice
- Solid understanding of UAE Corporate Tax regulations and filing processes
- Solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations and filing processes
- Experience preparing P&Ls;, financial reports, and annual financial plans
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Familiarity with UAE business banking practices and documentation
- Fluent English — written and spoken
- Comfortable working directly with founders and clients in a client-facing capacity
- High attention to detail and solid organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with WIO Bank or other UAE digital business banking platforms
- Background in tech startups or consulting firms
- Experience working with Free Zone companies (IFZA, DMCC, etc.)
- Familiarity with FTA portals and UAE company compliance cycles
