VFX Artist — Games (Eluru)

We’re a fast-growing startup building high-impact Roblox experiences for a global audience, and we’re looking for a VFX Artist who can create polished, performance-friendly real-time effects. Roblox experience is a plus, but not required. If you’ve worked on Unity, Unreal, mobile games, casual games, AR/VR, animation, motion graphics, or real-time VFX, we’d love to talk.

About the RoleAs a VFX Artist, you’ll be responsible for creating visually exciting and optimized effects that enhance gameplay, feedback, and overall player experience. You’ll work closely with designers, developers, and artists to bring game moments to life through effects such as explosions, magic, smoke, trails, impact effects, environmental effects, UI effects, and more.

What You’ll DoCreate real-time VFX for gameplay, abilities, environments, UI, and player feedback Design effects such as fire, smoke, sparks, explosions, magic, trails, hits, rewards, and transitions Work closely with game designers and developers to make effects feel satisfying and readable Optimize VFX for performance across devices Create textures, sprite sheets, flipbooks, particles, and shader-based effects Iterate quickly based on gameplay needs and feedback Maintain a consistent visual style across the experience Support live updates, events, and new feature launches

Must Have2+ years of experience as a VFX Artist, Game Artist, Motion Designer, or Real-Time Effects Artist Robust understanding of particles, timing, animation, composition, color, and visual readability Experience creating effects for games, mobile apps, interactive media, or real-time environments Ability to create stylized, clean, and performance-friendly effects Good understanding of optimization for real-time platforms Strong ownership mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment A portfolio/showreel demonstrating VFX work is required
