Job Title: Drip Engineer/ Manager Company: Mobitech Wireless Solution Pvt. Ltd. Mobitech Wireless Solution Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Drip Engineer/Manager to design, implement and support drip irrigation and smart irrigation systems. The role involves field surveys, system design and technical support to ensure efficient water management. Job Type: Full time Salary: 20,000 to 45,000 Based on Experience Work Location: Erode, Tamil Nadu Job Responsibilities Field Survey and Planning
- Conduct on-site surveys to assess irrigation requirements.
- Study crop type, soil condition, water source and farm layout.
- Measure land area and identify irrigation zones.
- Collect accurate field data for system design. System Design
- Design drip irrigation layouts, including pipelines and distribution lines.
- Calculate water requirements and flow rates.
- Plan valve placement and irrigation zones.
- Recommend suitable components and configurations. Installation and Execution
- Coordinate with field technicians for system installation.
- Supervise installation of pipelines, valves and filters.
- Ensure all work is completed as per company standards. Automation and Integration
- Support installation of automation systems such as controllers and sensors.
- Assist in system configuration and ensure proper functioning.
- Coordinate with the technical team for setup and integration. Testing and Commissioning
- Conduct system testing after installation.
- Check water flow, pressure and overall system performance.
- Identify and resolve issues before final handover. Customer Support
- Train farmers on system usage and maintenance.
- Provide guidance on irrigation scheduling.
- Address customer queries and provide ongoing support. Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare survey reports and system design documents.
- Maintain installation and completion reports.
- Share regular updates with management. Qualifications
- B.E. or B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering, EEE, ECE or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in drip irrigation or agri-technology is preferred.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and basic technical skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel for fieldwork. Benefits
