A Junior Electrical Engineer for Lighting Automation is a hands-on, site-oriented role focused on installing, wiring, testing, and supporting automated lighting systems in homes, offices, and commercial projects. Job Responsibilities:
- Installation and wiring of lighting automation systems
- Panel dressing and module connections
- Testing and commissioning of lighting controls
- Coordination with site teams and vendors
- Troubleshooting basic electrical and automation issues Responsiilties
- Assist in installing lighting automation systems (relay & dimming)
- Execute wiring as per drawings and BOQ
- Support configuration of systems like DALI, KNX and others
- Coordinate with senior engineers & technicians
- Conduct site surveys and prepare reports
- Ensure proper labeling, safety, and documentation Must-have:
- Basic electrical knowledge (phase, neutral, load handling)
- Understanding of lighting circuits
- Ability to read electrical drawings Positive to have:
- Knowledge of dimming systems (like 0-10V Dimming)
- Exposure to automation systems
- Basic use of multimeter and testing tools
- Willingness to work on-site (critical) Qualification
- Diploma / ITI / B.E. in Electrical or Electronics
