• Ability to interpret and analyze renal physiology to offer optimal treatment plans for patients with acute or chronic kidney issues.
• Demonstrated capability to manage chronic kidney disease cases and provide long-term care, including patient education and lifestyle guidance.
• Exposure to transplant medicine, including pre- and post-transplant patient management and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to explain medical concepts to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adherence to clinical protocols, ethical standards, and a demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development within nephrology.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of kidney diseases, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care.
• Provide ongoing management to chronic kidney disease patients, including regular monitoring, medication adjustments, and dialysis oversight.
• Participate in transplant medicine activities, managing patient evaluation, preparation, and follow-up in collaboration with surgical and nursing teams.
• Interpret and utilize laboratory and imaging findings to inform the development of patient-specific treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families on renal health, treatment options, dialysis, and transplant procedures to ensure informed decision-making.
• Document patient histories, care plans, and treatment outcomes accurately in compliance with regulatory and hospital standards.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to patient care.
