,Job Description – GDA Trainer (Geriatric Caregiver) Job Title: Trainer – GDA (Geriatric Caregiver) Location: Faridkot, Punjab Program: Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana / National Skill Development Corporation Job Summary We are looking for a qualified and experienced Trainer – Geriatric Caregiver to deliver classroom and practical training under the PMKVY 4.0 program. The trainer will be responsible for ensuring high-quality skill training aligned with NSDC guidelines and preparing candidates for assessment, certification, and employment opportunities in the healthcare sector. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver theoretical and practical training as per PMKVY/NSDC curriculum
- Prepare lesson plans, session plans, and training materials
- Conduct practical demonstrations related to elderly and patient care
- Assess candidate performance and provide continuous guidance
- Maintain attendance records, batch reports, and documentation
- Ensure proper utilization of lab equipment and TLMs (Teaching Learning Materials)
- Prepare candidates for assessments and certifications
- Train candidates on soft skills, communication, patient handling, and professional ethics
- Ensure compliance with PMKVY and NSDC training standards
- Coordinate with Centre Coordinator for smooth training operations Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification:
- B.Sc Nursing / GNM / ANM / Equivalent Healthcare Qualification Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of healthcare industry experience (Hospital/Clinical/Elderly Care)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching or training experience preferred Required Skills
- Robust understanding of geriatric and elderly care practices
- Excellent training and presentation skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Practical demonstration and patient handling ability
- Empathetic and professional approach toward trainees and patients
- Basic computer knowledge Working Days
- 6 Days a Week Additional Requirements
- Experience in Skill Development Projects, such as PMKVY/NSDC preferred
- ToT (Training of Trainers) Certification will be an added advantage
