Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior .NET Developer located in Bahrain. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software applications using modern .NET technologies within a cooperative development environment. The candidate will be responsible for building robust backend systems, integrating APIs, optimizing application performance, and ensuring high-quality code standards through testing and peer reviews. Key responsibilities include developing applications using ASP.NET, .NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC frameworks, working with databases and microservices architecture, troubleshooting technical issues, and contributing to software architecture and system improvements. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing secure coding practices, and supporting deployment and maintenance activities. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and software development best practices. Hands-on experience with ASP.NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, and VB.NET. Experience in developing REST APIs, WCF services, SignalR integrations, and microservices-based applications. Knowledge of Entity Framework, SQL/MySQL databases, and payment gateway integrations. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. Understanding of source control systems, software testing, debugging, and application performance optimization. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, networking concepts, and QA/testing methodologies is an added advantage. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle processes. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Excellent communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and time management skills.
