- 12 Lacs Role Summary We are looking for an experienced Food Technologist to lead R&D; and New Product Development (NPD) for our Snacks and Ready-to-Eat (RTE) product portfolio. The role involves end-to-end product development, food safety compliance, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation and successful commercialization. Key Responsibilities New Product Development
* Lead product development from concept to commercialization.
* Develop and optimize product formulations for taste, texture, shelf life, and cost efficiency.
* Conduct lab trials, pilot runs, and scale-up in collaboration with production teams.
* Lead sensory evaluation and consumer validation.
* Set up and manage a compact R&D; laboratory. Quality & Food Safety
* Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, and BRCGS standards.
* Implement quality control systems and support internal and external audits.
* Lead shelf-life studies and product stability validation.
* Manage customer complaints and CAPA implementation. Process & Cost Optimization
* Improve yield, consistency, and production efficiency.
* Standardize SOPs and support troubleshooting on the shop floor. Regulatory & Documentation
* Ensure labeling compliance and nutritional declarations.
* Maintain technical documentation, product specifications, and regulatory records. Qualifications & Experience
* B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology, Food Science, Dairy Technology, or related field
* 5–10 years of experience in Snacks or RTE manufacturing
* Strong expertise in NPD, shelf-life studies, audits, and regulatory compliance
