Linux Administrator (IT Engineer / DEVOPS) (Kochi)

- Plan, design, and maintain our intercontinental network across six global locations.
- Optimize our data center packet-switching infrastructure for reliability, low latency, and high throughput.
- Keep our network secure using OpenBSD firewalls and manage customer connections via leased lines and VPNs.
- Develop and enhance automated network configuration tools using 100% open-source software (e.g. Ansible, Python).
- Participate in a rotating on-call system (approximately one week in five, fully compensated).
- Assist in maintaining our fleet of ~600 Linux servers (Debian 12, CentOS 8).
- Expand your expertise by learning technologies such as Kubernetes and Puppet
- Programming experience in at least one scripting language, ideally Bash, Perl, or Python.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and networking, with proficiency in command-line operations.
- Experience with Icinga, Puppet, Hiera, Linux KVM, Git, Facter, Ansible, or MySQL is desirable.
- Proficiency in monitoring tools, switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Several years of experience in similar environments.
