Safety Officer (Kochi)

Role Overview: Infra Elevators is seeking a safety officer who is responsible for maintaining a safe working environment at the worksite by implementing Health and Safety Environmental (HSE) procedures and ensuring compliance with company safety standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Conduct daily safety inspections at recent installation site ensure that technicians and subcontractors follow safety rules and use proper PPE. Conduct toolbox talks and safety training. Monitor lifting activities, scaffolding stability and work at height activities. Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses to management. Maintain and update safety records, inspection reports and PPE details to management. Prepare and maintain safety reports, inspection records, incident reports, risk assessments, permits and other HSE documentation. Ensure all technicians wear proper PPE during repair and maintenance activities. Monitor maintenance work activities identify potential hazards and ensure all work is carried out following proper safety procedures. Purchase and maintain proper PPE stock. Issue new PPE to technicians when their PPE becomes damaged and maintain proper records in the register, Excel and Odoo. Conduct safety training to new joiners, issue PPE, collect the security amount, and refund amount after completing 6 months through Google pay in the company safety WhatsApp group and maintain proper records in the Register and Excel. Travel Requirements: Travelling is required daily from Branch Office to Ernakulum Head Office and Multiple Job site’s locations in Kerala. Eligibility Criteria: Qualification: Plus Two/ Higher Secondary, Fire & Safety Diploma or Degree. Experience: 0 – 2 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities. Freshers with safety certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA can also apply. Basic knowledge of site safety, hazard identification, PPE monitoring, and safety inspections preferred. Basic IT skills (usage of main commercial software, e.g. Office etc). English language skills are a positive. Pay: ₹15,000.00
