Role & responsibilities Conduct classroom and practical training sessions in carpentry and woodworking trades. Teach trainees about carpentry tools, materials, measurements, cutting, joining, and finishing techniques. Demonstrate secure operation of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines. Prepare lesson plans, practical assignments, training schedules, and assessment materials. Monitor trainee attendance, discipline, safety practices, and skill development. Evaluate trainees through practical tests, theory exams, and workshop activities. Ensure proper maintenance of workshop tools, machines, and training equipment. Maintain workshop safety, cleanliness, and proper use of PPE. Guide trainees in furniture making, interior woodwork, fabrication, and installation practices. Maintain training records, attendance registers, assessment reports, and inventory details. Support trainees in developing employability skills and workplace behavior.
