Project Manager (Building Construction) Position:Project Manager – Building Construction Location: Bodhgaya Experience Required: 10–15 Years in Building Construction Projects Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering
- PMP/Construction Management certification will be an added advantage Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage building construction projects from planning to completion. The candidate should be capable of handling project execution, planning, labour management, quantity surveying coordination, material management, client coordination, and reporting to management while ensuring quality, safety, timelines, and budget compliance. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, work programs, and resource planning.
- Ensure timely execution of all construction activities as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Track project progress and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
- Coordinate with planning engineers for daily, weekly, and monthly progress monitoring. Labour & Site Management
- Manage site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and labour teams.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower and equipment at site.
- Monitor labour productivity and maintain discipline and safety standards. Quantity Survey & Billing Coordination
- Coordinate quantity surveying activities including BOQ verification and quantity reconciliation.
- Verify contractor bills, work measurements, and material consumption.
- Support preparation of client bills and subcontractor billing. Material Management
- Plan and monitor material requirements as per project schedule.
- Coordinate procurement and ensure timely availability of materials at site.
- Monitor material consumption, wastage control, and stock management. Client & Department Coordination
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and government departments.
- Attend project review meetings and provide project status updates.
- Resolve technical and execution-related issues in coordination with stakeholders. Reporting & Documentation
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to management.
- Maintain project documentation, DPRs, site records, and compliance reports.
- Highlight project risks, delays, and mitigation plans to management. Quality & Safety Compliance
- Ensure construction activities comply with quality standards and approved specifications.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and safety teams for implementation of quality and safety procedures.
- Ensure adherence to statutory and company safety regulations. Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of building construction methodologies
- Project planning and scheduling skills

- Quantity surveying and billing knowledge
- Material planning and inventory control
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and project deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project/Primavera, and AutoCAD Preferred Project Experience
