The Car Sales Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for sales consultants and dealership staff. The role focuses on improving sales performance, customer engagement, product knowledge, negotiation skills, CRM usage, and overall dealership profitability. The trainer ensures that the sales team consistently follows dealership standards, OEM guidelines, and customer service best practices. Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Development
- Develop and conduct training programs for new and existing sales staff.
- Deliver classroom, on-floor, and virtual training sessions.
- Create structured onboarding programs for new hires.
- Conduct refresher training on:
- Sales process
- Product knowledge
- Customer handling
- Negotiation and closing techniques
- Finance & insurance basics
- CRM and lead management
- Train teams on OEM standards and dealership SOPs. Sales Performance Improvement
- Monitor individual and team sales performance.
- Identify skill gaps and create improvement plans.
- Coach sales executives during live customer interactions.
- Conduct role plays and mock sales presentations.
- Support achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets. Product & Market Knowledge
- Stay updated on:
- New vehicle launches
- Competitor offerings
- Automotive market trends
- Financing schemes and promotions
- Coordinate with OEM trainers for certification programs. Process Compliance
- Ensure adherence to dealership sales processes and documentation standards.
- Train staff on CRM data accuracy and follow-up discipline.
- Support audit and compliance requirements. Evaluation & Reporting
- Assess training effectiveness through tests, observations, and KPI tracking.
- Maintain training records and certification status.
- Submit regular reports on training activities and performance improvements. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Management, or related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in automotive sales and/or sales training.
- Experience in a car dealership setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive sales processes and customer lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and dealership management software. Required Skills

- Based at dealership/showroom locations
- Frequent interaction with sales teams and customers
- Weekend and holiday work may be required based on showroom operations
- Occasional travel for OEM training programs or multi-branch support Pay: ₹30,000.00
