TGT Social Science (Hata)

We are seeking a motivated, passionate, and energetic Social Science Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging classroom environment that fosters critical thinking and curiosity. You will deliver comprehensive lessons covering History, Geography, Political Science (Civics), and Economics, helping students build a strong foundation in human society, culture, and global citizenships. Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, interactive lessons aligned with curriculum standards (e.g., CBSE / ICSE / State Board / IB / IGCSE).
- Lesson Planning: Develop structured daily lesson plans, units, and learning modules that utilize diverse resources, maps, charts, and multimedia tools.
- Student Assessment: Design test papers, assign projects, grade internal assessments timely, and keep accurate records of student progress.
- Critical Thinking: Encourage dialogue, debate, and independent reasoning regarding current affairs and societal structures.
- Classroom Management: Establish clear rules to maintain a safe, disciplined, student-friendly, and inclusive learning environment.
- Differentiated Learning: Analyze individual student needs, strengths, and weaknesses to provide extra remedial support or individual tutoring.
- Extracurricular Integration: Guide students through subject-based exhibitions, quizzes, debates, and organize educational field trips.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings, school staff meetings, and skilled training workshops. Required Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Education, or a related field.
- Certification: Valid teaching license, certificate, or professional degree (e.g., B.Ed / State Certification) is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience teaching social sciences at the secondary/high school level.
- Subject Depth: Strong foundational knowledge of history, geography, civic duties, and economic concepts.
