:The Opportunity

A Senior HSE (Health, Safety, and Workplace) Manager is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive HSE strategies, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Key duties include conducting safety audits and risk assessments, leading incident investigations, developing and delivering training programs, continual improvement in line with HSE management system standards and promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organization. This role requires robust leadership to manage a team of safety professionals and environmental specialists and collaborate with other functions, regional and global teams to ensure a secure and compliant workplace.

How you’ll make an impact

Develop and implement HSE management systems, strategies, and policies to align with company goals and regulatory requirements. Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure preventative and corrective actions are taken. Lead investigations of incidents, accidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Ensure the organization complies with all local, state, and federal HSE legislation and standards. Develop and deliver HSE training programs for staff and contractors to build HSE capability across the organization. Monitor and evaluate HSE performance metrics, track trends, and analyse data to measure progress and identify areas for improvement. Perform internal audits and create safety reports for management, providing data and recommendations for improvement. Liaise with management, employees, and external stakeholders to promote safety and ensure project compliance. Drive continuous improvement in HSE performance through the implementation of best practices, lessons learned, and feedback mechanisms.
