- Power Electronics (P3) Role overview Lead the end-to-end development and integration of advanced power electronic systems for electric vehicles, renewable energy, and industrial automation. Champion system architecture, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to global safety and performance standards. Resolve complex system-level challenges—including thermal, EMI/EMC, and functional safety—while mentoring engineering teams and fostering a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and integration of power electronic systems—including AC-DC, DC-AC, and DC-DC converters, inverters,—for electric vehicles, renewable energy platforms, and industrial converters.
- Define system architecture, topology, requirements, and interface specifications for industrial power converters, charging platforms, high-voltage drivetrain systems.
- Guiding designs from concept to mass production.
- Collaborate cross-functionally across hardware, software, mechanical, integration, testing, production, supply chain and project management teams to ensure seamless product development and successful delivery within time.
- Ensure compliance with relevant international safety and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues related to system behaviour, thermal management, electromagnetic compatibility/interference (EMC/EMI), and power quality.
- Lead detailed design reviews and ensure comprehensive validation and verification coverage across system interfaces and critical performance metrics, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing where applicable and safety assessments.
- Ensure the product meets quality, cost and timeline requirements.
