Accounts Payable Specialist (Gulbarga)

Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support accounting operations and help drive process efficiency and financial accuracy within a fast-paced global environment.

This role involves hands-on responsibility across Accounts Payable, General Ledger activities, and internal controls, while collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable
- Review and process vendor invoices in Concur / Oracle
- Confirm receipt of goods or services with internal budget owners
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors
- Review employee T&E; expense reports for policy compliance
- Ensure correct general ledger coding
- Submit vendor change requests and manage updates with procurement
- Prepare payment proposals for Accounting Manager approval

General Ledger
- Prepare journal entries under Accounting Manager guidance
- Maintain supporting documentation for accounting records
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation differences
- Support monthly close activities

Compliance & Support
- Assist with audit requirements
- Maintain JSOX internal control documentation
- Support continuous improvement of accounting processes
- Participate in special projects when required

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with Accounts Payable and General Ledger processes
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with Oracle, SAP, or Concur preferred
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
