Job Title: Assistant Production Manager ( Food & Nutrition Candidates Only)

Location : Doddaballapur, Bangalore, Karnataka

Purpose of Role:

Oversee the daily workings of manufacturing operations. Lead a team to plan, manage, and implement order fulfillment delivery schedules to ensure customer requirements and revenue plans are safely met. Maintain the highest standard in safety, quality, production, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading all plant operations to ensure correct, accurate and timely completion of production and delivery schedules.

Analyse production to determine where improvements may be made which will contribute to plant profitability.

Identify opportunities for operational improvements in processes and systems to enhance team performance.

Hands-on Work experience with site Lean initiatives across the plant to achieve lean.

Coordinating with stores to maintain the receipts of storage and dispatches.

Working closely with the material department to ensure timely availability of raw materials and maintain plant inventories at their optimal.

Conducting meetings with subordinates to improve product quality and achieve maximum productivity.

Maximizing line efficiency and minimizing downtime by putting in place solid systems for preventive maintenance and root cause analysis.

Finalizing the product mix in case of any processing problems.

Coordinating with QC/QA to take appropriate corrections, corrective and preventive actions on non-conforming products, manufacturing methods, and processes.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

B E Mechanical with at least 6 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or production Leadership role is desired. Equivalent experience will be considered.

Experience in the food and nutrition industry and preferably in the micronutrient industry is added advantage.

Able to Communicate in both Languages English and Kannada.
