Role Overview The Area General Manager (AGM)– Franchise Expansion will be responsible for driving franchise partner acquisition and onboarding across Livspace Kitchens&Wardrobes and Casantro (premium kitchens and wardrobes). As the front-line business development leader, the AGM will identify high-potential markets, engage qualified prospects, convert franchise partners, and ensure smooth onboarding until store launch. This role demands strong business development capabilities, market understanding, stakeholder management, and a high level of ownership.Key Responsibilities 1. Market Identification&Expansion Strategy - Work closely with the Regional Manager to identify high-potential Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4 markets for franchise expansion. - Conduct on-ground market research to evaluate customer demand, competition, and commercial feasibility. - Develop expansion strategies aligned with regional business goals.2. Lead Generation&Prospecting - Identify and qualify prospective franchise partners across target markets. - Build a strong pipeline of potential partners with relevant financial capability and business acumen. - Network extensively with entrepreneurs, channel partners, and industry stakeholders. 3. Partner Engagement&Conversion - Conduct business presentations and franchise opportunity discussions with prospective partners. - Present Livspace and Casantro business models with clear ROI and growth potential. - Drive commercial discussions, negotiations, and franchise agreement closures. 4. Onboarding&Store Launch Support - Support franchise partners through agreement signing, documentation, and onboarding processes. - Coordinate with internal teams including design, operations, branding, training, and installation. - Ensure timely execution and launch readiness of franchise stores. 5. Performance Management&Reporting - Achieve monthly and quarterly franchise acquisition targets. - Maintain accurate reporting on prospect funnel, conversion metrics, and onboarding status. - Collaborate with the Franchise Expansion leadership team for execution planning and business reviews. Key Result Areas (KRAs)- Number of franchise partners onboarded. - Prospect-to-franchise conversion ratio. - Timely completion of onboarding and store launches. - Quality and long-term sustainability of franchise partnerships. - Regional expansion growth aligned with business targets. Desired Candidate Profile- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred. - 8–12 years of experience in franchise expansion, business development, channel sales, or partner acquisition. - Proven experience in achieving aggressive expansion or sales targets. - Strong exposure to interiors, modular furniture, building materials, laminates, tiles, or related industries preferred.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Strong networking and relationship management capabilities. - High willingness to travel extensively across Karnataka and assigned territories.
