Job Purpose

The role holder’s contribution will be central to delivery and support of teaching, learning and assessment, across Business for the Confidential company.

The role holder will teach at undergraduate and postgraduate level in courses related to general management, like:

Introduction to management Management ethics Human resource management Entrepreneurial management Critical Perspectives on organisation and management Risk-taking and decision-making Digital technologies in business Business in society Consulting concepts and practices Innovation technology and environment Making successful decisions. Philosophy of management Engage in other necessary educational activities to ensure the successful delivery of degree programmes. Once teaching activities are embedded and successful, the role holder will undertake research and knowledge exchange in line with the campus’s research strategy. More specifically, research expertise in areas of general management.

The role holder will undertake leadership, management and engagement activities and will demonstrate collegiality by ensuring ‘Southampton Behaviours’ are embedded within their ways of working.
