Job Description: Operations Executive Intern – Travel Industry Position Title: Operations Executive Intern Department: Operations Industry: Travel & Tourism Location: Sector 30, Gurgaon Duration: Internship (3 to 6 Months) About the Role: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Executive Intern to support our daily business operations in the travel industry. The intern will assist in managing bookings, coordinating with vendors, handling customer queries, and ensuring smooth execution of travel services. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in handling domestic and international travel bookings (flights, hotels, transport, holiday packages).
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, transport vendors, and travel partners.
- Support customers with booking confirmations, itinerary changes, cancellations, and travel-related queries.
- Prepare travel itineraries, vouchers, invoices, and operational reports.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings and customer details.
- Ensure timely follow-up with vendors and clients.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Handle basic MIS reporting and documentation.
- Support the operations team in resolving service issues quickly and efficiently. Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate / Pursuing Graduation in Travel, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field.
- Positive communication skills (written & verbal).
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and customer-focused mindset. Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) is an added advantage.
- Prior internship experience in travel/hospitality will be preferred. What You Will Learn:
