We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee the production operations at our Lubricant manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production processes, maintain quality standards, and achieve optimal productivity while adhering to safety protocols.Production Management - Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities to meet production targets and deadlines. - Optimize production schedules, labor utilization, and resource allocation. - Monitor production metrics and ensure adherence to quality, cost, and efficiency standards.- Lead and manage a team of supervisors, operators, and technicians to achieve production goals. - Train, motivate, and mentor team members to enhance skills and productivity. - Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments. Quality Assurance - Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.- Collaborate with the Quality Control team to address and resolve quality issues promptly. - Implement and monitor quality assurance practices to minimize defects and rework. Process Improvement - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce production costs.- Utilize lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to streamline operations. - Oversee equipment maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. Safety and Compliance - Ensure a safe and compliant working environment by adhering to company policies and regulatory standards. - Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions for staff.- Monitor and manage waste reduction and sustainability efforts. Inventory and Resource Management - Manage raw materials and inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking. - Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of resources. - Maintain accurate production and inventory records.Skills and Knowledge Education - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical
Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. - Master’s degree in Operations Management or a related discipline (preferred). Experience - Minimum 7-10 years of experience in production management, preferably in an automotive lubricant manufacturing environment.- Proven track record of managing large teams and achieving production targets.
