Responsibilities Gather problem statements that users or businesses might be facing from a cross-functional team and brainstorm over the solution.Design simple, elegant, data-driven, user-centric experiences that delight users Empathize with the user through their journey(ies) and understand their needs Plan research and usability tests to collect insights before/after designs are delivered Apply a mix of quantitative and qualitative user research techniques to gain greater empathy for users' needs.Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. Identify new product improvement opportunities. Coordinate with other design team members to ensure consistent and accurate communication. A very high degree of focus on the user. You will be expected to be the voice of the user in the room, and the source of nuanced insights about them.Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Work in an agile environment with other designers, product managers, and developers. Active collaboration in developing a robust Design System in place. Requirements: 4+ years of experience as a Product Designer.Solid visual design foundation understanding of design principles (space, typography, color theory, layout, etc.) Demonstrated experience with making delightful experiences for users. Have a sense of ownership of what you are designing. The ability to articulate and defend design choices in a compelling manner using research/data.Passion for learning and always improving yourself and the team around you. Curiosity and creativity to test new ideas and innovate to improve business results. You are a first-principle thinker and should be able to creatively come up with solutions that might not even exist in the current EduTech market.Ability to phase design projects to optimize quick releases and scale design back to lower scope when needed. Analytical design thinking and healthy reasoning skills to back your design decisions. A good understanding of the product life cycle and design trade-offs at each step in the life cycle.A go-getter attitude with an insatiable curiosity and willingness to learn and grow every day A good knowledge of the Figma design system. You have good critical problem-solving skills with creative design-thinking capabilities. In short, a good balance of left and right brain. You are able to confidently articulate UX design rationale with teams and key stakeholders.Communicate effectively with teams to understand their goals and objectives. Proven solid, up-to-date understanding of best practices, and developments in classic interaction design, and information architecture principles. As an experienced systems thinker, designing for scale and reuse is in your DNA.
