Job Summary

Skilled Electrical Engineer with 68 years of experience in Transmission & Distribution (T&D;) projects. The candidate will be responsible for the design, engineering, and technical support of power transmission and distribution systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities Prepare electrical design and engineering calculations for transmission and distribution systems. Design overhead transmission lines and distribution networks. Prepare single line diagrams (SLD), layout drawings, and schematics. Develop earthing, lightning protection, and cable routing designs. Perform voltage drop calculations, lighting calculations Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical specifications for equipment. Coordinate with civil, procurement, and project teams during design and execution. Review and approve vendor drawings and technical documents. Ensure designs comply with relevant standards such as IEC, IEEE, IS, and utility standards. Provide technical support during project execution and commissioning. Assist in tender documentation and technical proposal preparation.

Required Skills Robust knowledge of Transmission & Distribution system design. Experience with AutoCAD or similar electrical design software. Understanding of substation layouts and equipment selection. Knowledge of HT/LT systems, transformers, switchgear, and protection systems. Familiarity with electrical design standards and codes.
