Production Supervisor-Daund, Pune, Maharashtra

Industry: Fiber Cement Boards Manufacturing Location: Delwadi village,Daund taluk, Pune( Near Urulikanchan) Department: Production / Manufacturing Reporting To: Production Manager Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in the Fiber Cement Boards manufacturing line.
- Ensure achievement of production targets as per planned schedules.
- Monitor machine operations, process parameters, and production efficiency.
- Maintain quality standards as per company specifications and customer requirements.
- Reduce rejection, wastage, and process losses.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch departments for smooth plant operations.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, and raw materials.
- Monitor daily production reports, shift reports, and downtime analysis.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures, PPE usage, and housekeeping standards.
- Train and guide shop-floor operators and workers on production processes and safety practices.
- Handle shift operations and resolve shop-floor issues effectively.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, safety, and plant operational standards. Required Skills & Competencies
- Good knowledge of Fiber Cement Boards manufacturing process.
- Understanding of autoclave process, sheet forming, curing, sanding, cutting, and finishing operations.
- Knowledge of production planning and process control.
- Ability to handle manpower and shift management.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Positive communication and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with safety and quality systems in manufacturing plants. Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Chemical / Production / Industrial Engineering. Experience
- 48 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
