Sas Administrator (Daund)

Install, configure, and maintain SAS software and related products.
- Monitor SAS servers, services, and jobs to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Implement and maintain security measures and access controls for SAS environments.
- Manage SAS metadata including users, groups, roles, and permissions.
- Troubleshoot SAS platform issues and provide timely resolution.
- Plan and execute SAS software upgrades and patches.
- Collaborate with SAS developers, analysts, and users to deploy applications and solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to SAS configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to SAS users as needed.
- Stay current with SAS technologies, updates, and best practices. Requirements
- Proven experience as a SAS Administrator or in a similar role.
- Robust knowledge of SAS architecture and components.
- Experience with SAS Management Console, SAS Metadata Server, and SAS Grid Computing.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell scripting, Python) for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with database management systems (DBMS) and SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ years of real time experience in SAS with linux (Must)
- SAS Certified Platform Administrator for SAS 9 or SAS Viya.
- Experience with SAS Viya architecture and administration.
- Knowledge of SAS security practices and standards.
- Familiarity with SAS integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory).
