Role Overview We are seeking a Mechanical Junior Engineer / Assistant Engineer with hands-on experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, boilers, material handling systems, and plant machinery to support maintenance and smooth operation of a Fiber Cement Boards manufacturing unit. Key Responsibilities 1. Mechanical Maintenance & Operations
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery.
- Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems (hydraulic power packs, cylinders, valves).
- Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic systems (compressors, air lines, FRLs, actuators).
- Assist in operation and maintenance of industrial boilers (as per statutory norms).
- Monitor boiler parameters, steam lines, safety valves, and accessories.
- Maintain conveyors, elevators, rollers, and belts used in board manufacturing.
- Oversee maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring breakdowns.
- Support installation, erection, and commissioning of recent machinery and utilities.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures, statutory norms, and PPE usage.
- Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and equipment history cards.
- Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering Experience 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing plant, preferably in:
- Fiber Cement Boards / Cement / Building Materials / Process Industry
- Hands-on exposure to:
