Role Description This is a full-time Accountant role based in Rudrapur, structured as a hybrid position with a combination of in office work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Accountant will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank accounts.

Responsibilities include preparing invoices, processing vendor bills, managing accounts receivable and payable, and assisting with payroll entries. The role will support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including preparation of financial statements, reports, and schedules for internal review and external auditors. The Accountant will also ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, taxation requirements, and company policies, while coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders (such as auditors, vendors, and customers).

Qualifications Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliation, and closing of accounts. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems), MS Excel, and basic data analysis tools. Knowledge of taxation, invoicing, GST, and other statutory compliance relevant to Indian accounting practices. Attention to detail, accuracy in numerical work, and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with finance, operations, and management teams. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a hybrid (office and remote) setting. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; qualified certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA Inter) are an advantage.
