Production Planning & Factory Operations Manager (Uttar Pradesh)

Role & responsibilities Manage end-to-end factory operations from cutting to dispatch for a fast-growing international sportswear manufacturing business. Preferred candidate profile Key responsibilities include:
- Production Planning & Control (PPC)
- Daily production scheduling and manpower allocation
- Managing cutting, printing, stitching, QC, packing, and dispatch flow
- Monitoring WIP and production timelines
- Identifying bottlenecks and improving operational efficiency
- Organizing factory floor operations and improving discipline
- Implementing SOPs and scalable production systems
- Improving line balancing, workflow, and productivity
- Reducing delays, rework, idle time, and unnecessary overtime
- Conducting daily production review meetings
- Hiring, training, and building factory teams
- Creating accountability and performance tracking systems
- Driving operational improvements and factory scaling initiatives Preferred candidate profile:
- 5 to 10 years experience in apparel/garment manufacturing
- Strong experience in Factory Operations and Production Planning
- Exposure to sportswear, knitwear, activewear, or export house operations preferred
- Solid understanding of:
- PPC
- WIP Management
- Line Balancing
- Production Scheduling
- Manpower Handling
- Shop Floor Management
- Operational Improvement
- Hands-on leader with strong execution capability
- Ability to build systems and improve factory processes
