Role & responsibilities : East India Udyog Ltd. is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer (Manager level) to support its Water Business BD & Tendering function. The role focuses on electrical system design, load estimation, SLD preparation, and automation/SCADA integration for water and wastewater treatment projects during bid and proposal stages. Key Responsibilities & Deliverables Electrical Design & Engineering
- Prepare and review Electrical Load Schedules for water and wastewater treatment plants

- Develop and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLD)

- Design and specify electrical systems for water infrastructure projects

- Selection and sizing of transformers, LT/HT panels, MCCs, PCCs, and control panels

- Define electrical requirements for pumps, motors, blowers, and process equipment

Automation, SCADA & Control Systems
- Design and integrate SCADA systems and automation architecture

- Coordinate control philosophy, I/O lists, and panel requirements

- Interface with instrumentation and automation teams for complete system integration

Bid & Tendering Support
- Provide electrical inputs for techno-commercial bids and tenders

- Prepare technical specifications, BOQs, and compliance statements

- Support technical clarifications with clients, consultants, and vendors

- Review vendor offers and perform technical bid evaluations

Coordination & Documentation
- Work closely with BD, tendering, mechanical, and process teams

- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, codes, and project requirements

- Support value engineering and optimization during proposal stages

Preferred candidate profile
- Robust expertise in electrical design for water & wastewater treatment plants

- Hands-on experience with load calculations, SLDs, and equipment selection

- Knowledge of SCADA systems, automation, and control panels

- Exposure to EPC / infrastructure / utility projects
