Fashion Designer (Uttar Pradesh)

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer with experience in ethnic and fusion wear to conceptualize and develop seasonal collections. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of color, fabric, print development, and garment construction, along with a passion for sustainable and contemporary Indian fashion. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop seasonal ethnic and fusion wear collections aligned with brand aesthetics
- Create design illustrations, CADs, and detailed tech packs for sampling and production
- Work closely with fabric sourcing, sampling, and production teams to ensure quality execution
- Develop surface ornamentation, embroidery designs, and textile prints
- Participate in fit trials, ensuring product quality, fit, and finishing standards
- Maintain design documentation, archives, and seasonal line sheets
- Collaborate with marketing and e-commerce teams for styling, photoshoots, and catalog development Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of Indian ethnic wear, textiles, and color theory
- Knowledge of print techniques: digital printing, table printing, cold discharge, Prussian, pigment printing, tie & dye
- Knowledge of embroidery techniques: machine embroidery, adda work, hand embroidery
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Google Slides
- Understanding of pattern making, draping, and garment construction
- Excellent creative visualization and attention to detail
- Ability to balance creativity with commercial viability
- Solid time management, multitasking, and collaboration skills Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design (NIFT preferred, 8+ CGPA)

- 4 years of experience in ethnic or fusion wear design
- Experience working with D2C / e-commerce fashion brands is an advantage
- Strong portfolio showcasing ethnic/fusion collections, prints, and fabric innovation
