Location: Noida, India (Remote) Employment Type: Full-Time Working Hours: US Eastern Time (EST/EDT) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced HR Associate to support HR operations for Thunderhawk Technology Partners — a US-headquartered workforce solutions firm with offices in Atlanta and Global Delivery Centers across India. Working US Eastern hours, this role partners closely with our US HR leadership to support employee onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, compliance activities, employee relations, and HR operations for our US-based workforce — including full time employees and contractors. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced supporting HR functions within a fast-paced professional services environment. This is an execution-focused support role operating under the direction of US HR leadership. Key Responsibilities Compliance & Policy Support Support the maintenance of HR compliance documentation and employment-related policies under direction of US HR leadership Help ensure adherence to company policies, employment requirements, and applicable US workforce regulations Assist with updates to employee handbooks, HR policies, and standard operating procedures Monitor and flag regulatory developments to US HR leadership Maintain documentation and records for audits, compliance reviews, and reporting requirements Benefits Administration — US Workforce Provide hands-on administration of US employee benefits programs — medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and ancillary benefits — for full-time employees and contractors Coordinate benefit enrollments, qualifying life events, open enrollment cycles, renewals, and employee communications Serve as liaison with US insurance carriers, brokers, third-party administrators, and PEO/EOR partners Resolve US employee benefits inquiries in a timely and professional manner Support COBRA administration and leave-of-absence coordination Employee Lifecycle Support Coordinate onboarding for US full-time employees and contractors — employment documentation, I-9/E-Verify processing, system access, training enrollment, and orientation logistics Coordinate offboarding processes — exit documentation, system deactivation, final pay coordination with payroll Maintain US personnel records and HRIS data integrity Support continuous improvement of the US employee experience across the lifecycle HR Operations Administer leave tracking, employee status changes, personnel data, and HR recordkeeping for the US workforce Support performance management cycles and employee development programs Generate HR reports, workforce metrics, and dashboards for US leadership Identify and implement operational efficiencies in HR processes and systems Employee Relations Support Serve as a first-line point of contact for US employee HR queries Support US HR leadership on employee relations matters, escalating sensitive issues appropriately Assist with documentation related to performance management and policy questions Help foster a positive and high-performing workplace culture Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, with direct experience supporting US-based workforces — both full-time employees and contractors (1099/W-2) Strong hands-on experience in US benefits administration — medical, dental, vision, 401(k), COBRA, FSA/HSA Working knowledge of US employment practices (I-9/E-Verify, ACA basics, FLSA, state withholding) sufficient to support compliance activities under direction of US HR leadership Demonstrated experience coordinating US employee onboarding and offboarding programs Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work US Eastern Time hours consistently and collaborate effectively with US-based leadership Strong proficiency with HRIS platforms (Gusto, Rippling, BambooHR, Paychex, ADP, or similar), Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace Preferred Qualifications SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent HR certification Prior experience at a US-headquartered firm operating from India (GCC, GDC, or captive) Experience with PEO or EOR platforms (Justworks, TriNet, Insperity, Deel, Remote, etc.) Experience supporting professional services, staffing, consulting, or technology firms Proven ability to scale HR support functions in a growing organization Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.in/job/4n9ozh
