Our aggressive expansion strategy saw the construction of vertically integrated Greenfield Bed Linen manufacturing facility at Hassan in the year 2005. Our Hassan facility boasts of one of the world’s largest integrated manufacturers of Bedding products with a Capacity of 61 MMPA*/12 MSSPA**. Our Terry Towel operation is also amongst the world’s largest integrated manufacturers of Terry Towel products with a capacity of 30,000 TPA***. We also operate the world’s largest Cotton Spinning plant under one roof equipped with 211,584 spindles. Our spinning plant is one of the leanest, cleanest and the most automated and efficient plants in the world. Job description Role Purpose Deputy Manager – HR (Total Rewards) will be responsible for managing end-to-end compensation & benefits operations, payroll administration, employee lifecycle processes, statutory compliance, grievance handling and audit coordination. The role also involves ensuring seamless employee experience through on-boarding, helpdesk management and compliance with internal, statutory and buyer audit requirements. Key Responsibilities Compensation & Benefits
- Manage end-to-end HR operations including payroll, compensation, benefits, reimbursements and employee benefits administration.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
- Drive compensation benchmarking, salary structure reviews and employee benefit programs.
- Handle full & final settlements, bonus payments, gratuity increments and statutory payouts. Payroll & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements including:
- PF
- ESI
- PT
- LWF
- Gratuity
- Bonus
- Income Tax / TDS
- Coordinate statutory remittances, returns filing, reconciliations and audits.
- Liaise with government authorities and external consultants for compliance matters. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage employee onboarding, enrollment, documentation and induction processes.
- Oversee Hire-to-Retire processes including employee records management, transfers, exits and separation formalities.
- Ensure employee data accuracy in HRMS/payroll systems. Grievance Management & Employee Support
- Handle employee grievance management related to payroll, benefits, attendance, and HR operations.
- Conduct employee helpdesk activities and ensure timely resolution of employee queries.
- Support employee communication related to compensation, benefits and policy clarifications. Audits & Compliance
- Coordinate and support:
- Buyer audits
- Internal audits
- External audits
- Compliance reviews
- Ensure audit readiness through proper documentation, records maintenance and process adherence.
- Prepare audit reports, compliance trackers and management updates. Process Improvement & MIS
- Generate HR/payroll MIS reports, dashboards and analytics.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation initiatives.
- Support implementation and stabilization of HRMS/payroll systems. Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Compensation & Benefits administration.
- In-depth understanding of payroll processes and statutory compliance.
- Sound knowledge of labour laws and employment regulations.
- Experience in handling audits and compliance documentation.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage employee grievances and operational escalations effectively.
- Proficiency in HRMS and payroll systems.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools. Qualification & Experience
- MSW/MBA/PGDM in HR.
- 8–12 years of experience in Total Rewards, Payroll, HR Operations, or Compensation & Benefits.
