JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE : Factory Manager / Plant Head LOCATION : Hindupur, Andhra Pradesh REPORTS TO : Group GM Operations SALARY RANGE : 17 LPA + JOB PURPOSE : A dynamic and experienced Factory manager to lead our upcoming injection moulding operation unit. The Factory Manger will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of factory operations, including production, quality control, maintenance, safety, and team management. This position requires solid leadership skills, technical expertise in injection Moulding Process, and the ability to drive operations excellence. Key Responsibilities: Operations Management:
· Develop and implement operational strategies to meet production targets and quality standards.
· Monitor daily production activities and optimize processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
· Ensure adherence to production schedules and delivery timelines.
· Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Quality Control:
· Establish and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet specified standards.
· Implement quality assurance processes and conduct regular inspections.
· Address and resolve quality issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction. Maintenance and Safety:
· Oversee equipment maintenance schedules and ensure optimal performance of injection molding machines.
· Enforce safety protocols and practices to create a safe working environment.
· Coordinate with maintenance staff to address equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime. Team Leadership and Development:
· Lead and motivate a diverse team of production staff, technicians, and supervisors.
· Provide coaching and training to improve team performance and skills.
· Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. Inventory and Resource Management:
· Manage inventory levels of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
· Optimize resource utilization to minimize costs and maximize efficiency. Compliance and Reporting:
· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
· Prepare regular reports on production performance, quality metrics, and operational KPIs. Project Management:
· Lead the setup and commissioning of the injection molding unit.
· Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution within defined timelines and budgets. Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or CIPET ; advanced degree preferred.
· Proven experience (15+ years) in injection molding operations, with at least 6 years in a managerial role.
· Strong technical knowledge of injection molding processes, equipment, and materials.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and manage competing priorities effectively.
· Proficient in MS Office and manufacturing software systems i.e., ERP , SAP.
· Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Design and implement everyday plans for the effective use of material and labour resources to achieve manufacturing target. Discuss everyday plan one day before positively. So that production should not be suffered. 2. Regular follow ups that sufficient materials in Stock. Investigate ALL (Raw materials / Consumable & Packaging, etc.) stock availability at RM Store and identify current requirements. 3. For new requirement as per the demand instruct to Purchase department for available of materials on or before time, plan inventory. 4. Regular communication / coordination with the department HOD’s and team for necessary work done on time. Regular coordination with all the departments for controls and monitor production KPIs. 5. Coordinate activities that affect operational decisions and planning daily operations. 6. Communicate complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends. 7. Daily interface required with planning, quality and purchasing to resolve problems and implement process improvements. 8. Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to ensure production / Quality related problems are identified and resolved quickly. Drive to root cause solutions in workmanship and efficiency. Responsibilities include capacity planning, scheduling and organizing the work flow of material from order through receipt, production, inspection and shipping as per the respective time lime. 9. Understand Demand of products & Quantity, Time of Delivery, Costing & Budgeting, Product planning as per the SOP. 10. General instructions to be followed to develop any new product: 11. Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate plan, cost-effective way. Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices. Carry out gap analysis of operations and Implementation Manage budgets and forecasts, Initiating corrective actions , Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; Pay: ₹1,200,000.00
