Junior Electrical Designing Engineer (Haryana)

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Design Engineer with experience in substation design projects (33 kV and above). The candidate will support the engineering team in preparing electrical design drawings, technical documentation, and coordination activities related to AIS/GIS substations and power system infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in SLDs, GA drawings, cable routing, earthing layouts, and basic power system engineering calculations, along with knowledge of applicable IEC/IS standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and modify Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), General Arrangement (GA) Drawings, cable routing layouts, and earthing layouts for substation projects.
- Support engineering teams in preparing electrical design calculations, technical reports, and project documentation.
- Assist in the design and execution of 33 kV and above AIS/GIS substations.
- Review electrical drawings and ensure compliance with IEC, IS, and utility standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as civil, protection, procurement, and project execution teams.
- Liaise with vendors for technical clarifications, drawing approvals, and equipment documentation.
- Assist during project execution, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure timely submission of engineering deliverables and maintain project documentation records.
- Support preparation of BOQ/BOM and engineering material specifications.
- Participate in technical discussions and project review meetings. Required Skills & Competencies:
- Knowledge of substation engineering and power system fundamentals.
- Experience in preparation of:
- SLDs
- GA Drawings
- Cable Layouts
- Earthing & Lightning Protection Layouts
- Familiarity with AIS/GIS substations (33 kV and above).
- Understanding of IEC/IS standards and electrical design practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical drafting tools.
- Basic understanding of power system studies and electrical calculations.
- Good coordination, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project setting. Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to substation project execution and commissioning activities.
- Knowledge of electrical equipment layouts, cable scheduling, and vendor drawing review.
