Electrical Engineer (Haryana)

Job Summary Skilled Electrical Engineer with 68 years of experience in Transmission & Distribution (T&D;) projects. The candidate will be responsible for the design, engineering, and technical support of power transmission and distribution systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical design and engineering calculations for transmission and distribution systems.
- Design overhead transmission lines and distribution networks.
- Prepare single line diagrams (SLD), layout drawings, and schematics.
- Develop earthing, lightning protection, and cable routing designs.
- Perform voltage drop calculations, lighting calculations
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical specifications for equipment.
- Coordinate with civil, procurement, and project teams during design and execution.
- Review and approve vendor drawings and technical documents.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards such as IEC, IEEE, IS, and utility standards.
- Provide technical support during project execution and commissioning.
- Assist in tender documentation and technical proposal preparation. Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Transmission & Distribution system design.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar electrical design software.
- Understanding of substation layouts and equipment selection.
- Knowledge of HT/LT systems, transformers, switchgear, and protection systems.
- Familiarity with electrical design standards and codes.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.
