- Senior Engineer (Signalling) in Kochi Metro Project. Missions/Main Duties
- Review of tender documents, detailed technical specifications for CBTC signaling as a part of tender preparation.
- Interfacing with other sub-systems such as telecommunications, rolling stock, P. Way, Civil, Traction Power supply to implement CBTC signaling Telecomworks.
- Review of detailed designs of Signaling submitted by the contractors.
- Verify completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors.
- Assist in testing and commissioning and review of OM manual, coordinating with the Authority and contractors on day-to-day work in installation testing and commissioning of Signaling systems and interfaces.
- Review of route control tables and finalization of Positive for Construction signaling drawings.
- Addressing the issues and incidences occurring in the revenue sections and resolving them by coordinating with the Contractor. Profile/Skills
- Graduate in Electrical / Electronics / Communication Engg. from a recognized institution.
- Minimum total experience of 12 years, out of which 4 years experience should be in the construction field of Signalling of Metro Project.
- Experience in MS Office, AutoCAD.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
- Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
- Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
- Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority.
