Group Company: Jindal Stainless Limited Designation: Junior Engineer Office Location: Hisar Sector: Steel / Metal Position description: To manage20 Hi Cold Rolling Mill operations, ensuring achievement of production targetswith strict adherence to safety, quality, and cost objectives, whilemaintaining high equipment reliability and workforce discipline. Primary Responsibilities:
- KeyResponsibilities: Shift Operations Management: Lead complete shift operations of the 20 Hi Cold Rolling Mill ensuring safe,smooth, and secure mill running. Production & Target Achievement: To achieve shiftwise output, productivity, and yield targets as per dispatchand rolling schedule. Process Control & Optimization: Ensure control of rolling parameters such as thickness, strip shape, flatness,tension, speed, and surface quality. Quality Assurance: Monitor coil quality, defect trends, and ensure compliance to productspecifications and customer requirements. Troubleshooting & Decision Making: Handle mill breakdowns, rolling issues, coil defects, automation problems, andtake quick decisions to minimize downtime. Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety rules, work permits, LOTO, housekeeping (5S), and statutorycompliance during shift operations. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain shift reports, downtime analysis, quality deviations, and improvementactions in SAP / daily MIS. Skills: -

1. `Strongtechnical knowledge of 20 Hi Cold Rolling Mill operations ` 2. `Understanding of rolling process, strip shape,flatness & surface quality ` 3. `Leadership, communication, and decisionmakingskills ` 4. `Working knowledge of SAP (PP / PM) and MS Office ` 5. `Exposure to TPM, Lean Manufacturing, 5S ` 6. `Ability towork in rotational shifts ` Competencies: #Leader ship with Learning agility with strong knowledge of Cold rolling Required work experience
