Overview

The Audit Senior Associate plays a lead role in executing audit engagements, supervising staff, and coordinating day-to-day engagement activities. This role requires robust technical skills, project management capability, and the ability to mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

Lead audit engagements from planning through completion in accordance with U.S. GAAP and GAAS

Perform and review audit procedures, including controls testing, substantive testing, and analytical procedures

Coordinate daily engagement activities, including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up

Review workpapers prepared by staff and provide constructive feedback

Mentor and supervise audit associates

Communicate effectively with U.S.-based managers and team members

Skills Required

Solid organizational and project management skills

Excellent attention to detail and technical proficiency

Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Commitment to high-quality client service

Qualifications

3–5 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm preferred

Nonprofit audit experience is a plus

CA/CPA preferred but not required
