Mechanical Design Engineer (Hosur)

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
- Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
- Develop manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality teams for project execution.
- Conduct design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
- Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
- Ensure designs comply with engineering standards and customer requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives. Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design concepts and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo, or similar.
- Experience in sheet metal, fabrication, machining, or product design.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerancing, and engineering drawings.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications
- BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in mechanical/product design.
- Experience in industrial automation, testing systems, or manufacturing industry will be an added advantage. Perks and Salary
