SAP Functional Consultant, Hosur

Role: SAP Functional Consultant Position: Remote Duration: 6 months (Contract Role) Time zone: UK Time zone (BST) Primary Skillset SAP Finance Secondary Skillset SAP Retail, MM, SD Module Years of experience : 10+ years Technical Skills/Experience▪ Order to Cash - sales orders, deliveries, billing, pricing, account assignment, settlement▪ Purchase to pay processes - purchase orders, stock transport orders, logistics invoice verification ▪ Business process and interface design work, functional and technical specifications. ▪ System configuration of Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Inventory Management, SAP WM and Financial Accounting Modules▪ Master data - customer, vendor, articles, stores ▪ Rebates ▪ Logistics Information Systems and SAP Query reports ▪ Debugging standard and bespoke programs and user exits. ▪ Experience with PI monitoring and mapping specifications. Roles&Responsibilities• Analyze and translate engineering business requirements (SAP Retail) into SAP Functional Solutions and Desing • Configure and support SAP modules such as FI, MM and SD to align with engineering workflows. • Design and maintain BOMs, routing, work centers, and master data within SAP.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, business, procurement) to ensure seamless process integration. • Prepare functional specifications (FS) and work closely with technical teams for development and enhancements. • Prepare Technical Design Document • Perform Unit Testing• Support system testing activities include system integration testing, End to End testing, and UAT. • Facilitate integration between SAP and external systems such Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Microsoft Azure • Manage engineering data migration, validation, and governance during implementations or upgrades.• Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous process improvements. • Conduct user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to ensure effective SAP adoption • Troubleshooting any major incident in production system and help with the solution approach
